Indian Gateball Federation (IGF) formerly known as Indian Gateball Association is a registered organization and have been continuing its activity over a period of decade for the promotion of Gateball sport India wide. It is a non profit sports organization and follows the statutes of International federation and the principles of the International Olympic Committee and Indian Olympic Association. IGA is dedicated for the development of this sport; coordination of national & international competition; training and registration of coaches & officials.
Few years ago, this sport was played by a few of us by establishing a little club, which later on converted to a full fledged association named “INDIAN GATEBALL FEDERATION” . Presently, there are many state level associations functioning under IGF extend their full co-operation to promote this game throughout India. Besides organizing national & state level competitions, coaching camps , IGF have been participating in many international competitions outside India; and received accolades & awards for its performance. IGF also participated in the prestigious sports event, “The World Games” which is held once in four years . In addition to , time to time invitations are also received from WGU for participation in the Gateball World Cup . Today our federation is known to all the gateball playing nations; and they also admire our activities for the promotion of this game.
